So far I have found two answers:
- "there's just one thing: I believe the curiosity killed the cat. and the dog. simultaneously :O"
- "curiosity killed the cat and the dog that was running after it."
Both of these indicates that curiosity got the dog as well. I do not really believe this, as cats and dogs are usually positioned to have different personalities.

PS. Incidently the Swedish word dog means killed. At least almost
PPS. Was it the killer app. or the killer attitude? Or lack of any of these?
PPPS. It might be a matter of "killer attitude vs. kill the attitude"..?
